The Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe has sent a special goodwill message to workers across the country, particularly Abia workers, in commemoration of the 2024 Workers’ Day.
Describing workers as indispensable pillars of economic progress, Chief Ahiwe in his message urged them to remain courageous in the face of daunting economic challenges and be resolute towards finding innovative ways to sustainable economic prosperity for everyone.
According to him, “Workers across all sectors are indispensable pillars of economic growth. Their contributions lubricate and energize the ecosystem that sustains the economy. Thus, I warmly celebrate all workers on this special day, especially Abia workers. I urge them to continue to serve with courage, be peaceful in defending their rights, resolute in seeking innovative ways to lasting economic prosperity, and hopeful that their toils, sweat and sacrifice shall someday be amply honoured as deserved.”
Chief Ahiwe, while wishing all workers memorable Wokers’ Day celebrations, prayed that God would continue to bless and protect them and their loved ones.
