The Resident Pastor of Assemblies of God Church, Gregory University Uturu chapel, Pastor Victor Dimoji has appreciated God for the life of the proprietor of Gregory University Uturu, Prof Gregory Ibe.

Speaking on Sunday 10 December while leading the congregation in prayers of thanksgiving for the 60th birthday ceremony of Prof Ibe, Pastor Dimoji thanked God for the vision of Gregory University Uturu.

He enjoined the congregation to remain steadfast in rendering fervent intercessory prayers, both for the good health of Prof Ibe and sustenance of the vision of Gregory University Uturu.

Addressing the congregation, GUU’s Deputy Registrar, Communication, Rev. Sleek Ogwo averred that Prof Ibe has achieved so many landmarks before attaining the milestone age of 60 and encouraged the church members to emulate the good examples of the university founder.

Testifying about the tangible impacts of Prof Ibe, Nnanna Nnate, a 300 level student of the institution described Prof Ibe as a gift to humanity and role model, stressing that his entrepreneurial grace has continued to rub off on many within the university community. Continuing, Nnate hailed Prof Ibe for making it possible for providing a serene conducive environment for academic pursuit in Uturu and prayed God to richly bless him with many more years in good health and prosperity.

Similar sessions of intercessory prayers were held in celebration of Prof Ibe’s 60th birthday in many chapels within GUU, including, St Gregory the Great Catholic chapel and the Anglican Chapel of Peace.

Prof Gregory Ibe, the proprietor of Gregory University Uturu was born into the royal family of HRH Eze Cyril Ibe on 10th December 1963 in Kaduna State.
