Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu and member of Ohaneze Ndigbo Advisory Council, Professor Gregory Ibe, has sent a warm birthday message to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in commemoration of Obasanjo’s 87th birthday anniversary.
In his birthday message made available to Ojemba magazine, Professor Ibe described President Obasanjo as a wise and globally acclaimed reformist whose impactful footprints remain the guiding lights of discerning leaders worldwide.
While acknowledging Obasanjo as his “father, leader and boss” from whom he has learnt a lot, Prof Ibe wished him God’s blessings and good health in the years ahead.
The full text of the message reads:
“It is with immense joy that I join the global community in celebrating my father, leader and boss former President Olusegun Obasanjo as he marks 87 years of tangible impact on earth.
“As a wise and acclaimed reformist your indelible footprints in the sands of governance remain guiding lights to discerning leaders across the globe.
“Since your emergence as first elected President of Nigeria’s 4th Republic, it has been a great school of learning working under you.
“I therefore pray that the Almighty God continues to keep you in good health and vitality while granting you wisdom to remain relevant and impactful in the comity of nations.
“Happy Birthday, Your Excellency!”
