The Founder and Proprietor of Gregory University Uturu, Prof Gregory Ibe has commiserated with the family of late Chief Wilson Ogah over the death of their Mother and Matriarch, Ezinne Paulina Wilson Ahamefula Ogah,JP.
Bemoaning the unfortunate sad loss of the eminent amazon who sired and raised many prominent national figures, Prof Ibe enjoined the bereaved family in particular and the entire Onuaku Uturu community to bear the irreparable loss with stoic equanimity.
According to Prof Ibe, “I have received the sad news of the unfortunate demise of mama Ezinne Paulina Wilson Ahamefula Ogah with palpable grief and hereby wish to convey deep condolences from my immediate family and the entire members of the late Eze Cyril Ibe Royal household of Amaokwe Achara Uturu.”
“While interceding for eternal repose of Ezinne, I wish to particularly extend my heartfelt sympathies and commiserations to my brothers and sisters over this irreparable loss, praying that the Almighty grants us all the fortitude and comfort of his peace, which passes all understanding.”
The passage of Ezinne Paulina Ahamefula Wilson Ogah at the age of 80, which took place in the early hours of Friday 31st May 2024, was announced through a notice of bereavement signed by Chief Ifeanyi Ogah.
According to the statement, in accordance with their late mother’s wish, her remains have already been interred on Saturday, 1st June, 2024 at her home town in Onuaku, Uturu in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
The notice however concludes by stating that “the family has also fixed 29th December 2024 for her final burial rite.”
Prof Ibe thereby enjoined all and sundry, especially all people of goodwill to consistently have the bereaved Ogah family in their prayers.
