The Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, Sir Okey Ahiwe has rejoiced with everyone that crossed over to the New Year, 2025 especially Abians, thanking God for His grace to survive 2024 which was a remarkably challenging year for most people.
In his New Year Message, Sir Ahiwe said that the best way to reciprocate the mercy of God in the past year is to sustain faith in His guidance and protection as the New Year unfolds.
“We must reciprocate God’s abundant mercies without which we wouldn’t have successfully navigated through the past year, by sustaining our faith in the potency of His guidance and protection. We must also not lower our guards as partners in the promotion of peace and, as the New Year unfolds, we should make it a priority to share love with others, especially the needy and vulnerable among us. We should always remember that what matters ultimately is not what we own but what we give to humanity ”, Sir Ahiwe said.
While wishing everyone a happy and prosperous New Year, he prayed that 2025 would be a year of abundant blessings to the greater glory of God.
