The Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe has sent warm greetings to Muslim Faithful across the country especially in Abia State as they celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.
Chief Ahiwe while congratulating the Muslim Faithful, reiterated the vital need for continued harmonious co-existence among people of various religious faith in the spirit of peace, brotherhood and community well-being.
In his words, “I am glad to congratulate my Muslim brothers and sisters across the country, particularly in Abia as they celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Kabir. Nigeria is richly endowed with the beauty of diversity on many fronts, and that includes religious diversity. Thus as we celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, let us pray for Divine wisdom to harness our strength of human diversity in all spheres towards national development, with greater commitment to promoting the values of peace and prosperity for everyone.”
Chief Ahiwe further enjoined Muslims to use the auspicious period of Eid-El-Kabir and say special prayers for Nigeria’s leaders, and for those in the security services sector whose sacrifice, vigilance and gallantry are essential pillars of national development.
