The Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe, has felicitated with former Secretary to Abia State Government, Barrister Chris Ezem, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.
In his birthday message, Chief Ahiwe described Barr. Chris Ezem as “an accomplished legal practitioner, astute administrator and unconventional politician who demonstrated, during his tenure of office as SSG, a rare and exemplary commitment to flawless execution in governance processes.”
Speaking further, Chief Ahiwe said that “Barr. Ezem exhibited exceptional capacity to facilitate the harmonization of organic functions of various government departments, helping to streamline focus towards the ultimate goal of delivering on the policy thrust of government. He conducted himself at all times as a public servant conscious of his primary obligation to serving public interest, and rising above narrow loyalty to partisan considerations. In and out of office, he has maintained consummate standards of humility and humanitarian disposition for which silent achievers are often celebrated across ages and seasons.”
While wishing Barr. Ezem a joyful birthday celebration and more glorious years ahead, Chief Ahiwe urged him to document his experience in public service in a compendium that may serve as a guiding companion to aspiring leaders in both public and private sectors.
