The remains of the former Acting Chief Judge of Abia State, Honorable Justice Shedrack Obioma Esindu Nwanosike have been laid to rest at his country home, Umueke Umuogwor in Ikeala Mbutu Community in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State.

Speaking during the funeral service which held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Mbutu Ukwu Parish, The Archbishop of Aba Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop, Diocese of Isiala-Ngwa South His Grace, The Most Rev. Isaac Chijioke Nwaobia, PhD, JP encouraged Christians to live a worthy, honest, and simple lifestyle. In whatever position anyone finds himself, he should carryout his duties with utmost diligence.

He noted that his brother and friend, Late S.O.E Nwanosike lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.

Archbishop Nwaobia testified that Late Nwanosike was an upright man, whose No was a NO and His yes meant YES. He added that he was always willing to assist his brothers excel in their various careers by offering them job opportunities when he had access to do so and prayed God to comfort the bereaved family and grant the soul of his departed servant enteral rest.

In a tribute, the only son of the deceased, Engr. Amanna Nwanosike described his late father as his best friend, role model, adviser, business partner and the model Judge whose impeccable integrity is a legacy he will cherish forever.

Honorable Justice S.O.E Nwanosike was the Father-in-law turned real father to my dear beloved elder sister.

He is survived by his wife, Lady Georginia Nwanyioma Nwanosike (J.P), Barr. Mrs. Adaure Elue (Daughter), Engr Amanna Nwanosike (Son), Nonye Nwanosike Emmanuel (Daughter), Olah Nwanosike (Daughter), and a host of other relations.

In a vote of thanks, Engr. Amanna Nwanosike appreciated the Abia State Government, the judiciary, church, relations, friends and well wishers who were all present to sympathize with them.

The juristic burial ceremony had the presence of the Abia State Government Officials, Nigeria Bar Association members, Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria members , traditional rulers, The Nation Newspapers, Captains of industries among other notable personalities.
