The Abia State PDP candidate in the 2023 general elections, Chief Okey Ahiwe, has commiserated with the family of late distinguished statesman and former PDP National Chairman, Prince Vincent Eze Ogbulafor.
In his message of emphathy to the Eze Ogbulafor Family, Chief Ahiwe remarked that through his active years in public service as Special Adviser (Economic Affairs) to the Governor of Abia State; Commissioner for Works, Lands, Housing and Transport, Abia State; Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Economic Matters and Special Projects), National Secretary and National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Vincent Eze Ogbulafor was a servant-leader and inspirational pathfinder whose professed commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and promoting national development placed him far above the sheer dramatic optics of leadership hypocrisy typical of today’s political showmanship on many fronts.
Chief Ahiwe urged the Eze Ogbulafor Family to be consoled by the positive footprints of their Patriarch at home and national spaces, and strive to uphold the sterling legacies for which he is cherished and celebrated. He prayed that God would grant the soul of Prince Vincent Eze Ogbulafor eternal rest.
