Member Ohanaeze Ndigbo Presidential Advisory Council, Prof Gregory Ibe has commiserated with the Governor of Anambra state Prof Chukwuma Soludo on the death of his father, Pa Simeon Soludo.
Speaking on the heels of the announcement of the death of the elder Soludo in the early hours of Monday 6 November, Prof Ibe appreciated God for his benevolence in prolonging the life of the governor’s father while affording him the privilege of a fulfilled tenure in divine health.
While condoling with Governor Soludo, Prof Ibe enjoined him to bear the death of his father with fortitude encouraged by Pa Soludo’s numerous legacies.
Concluding he beseeched God to grant Pa Soludo eternal rest and reassured the Governor of his sustained support and intercession especially during the grievous period of his bereavement.
Chief Press Secretary to Governor Soludo, Christian Aburime had released a statement on Monday officially announcing the death of the nonagenarian Pa Soludo at the age of 92 years.
