Bishop Dr Emeka Nwankpa has condoled with the former Minister of Power and Steel, and National Secretary of the Social Democratic Party, Dr Olu Agunloye, on the death of his mother, Chief Mrs Adesola Agunloye.
In his message of condolence to the SDP scribe, the revered cleric and a major stakeholder in the Social Democratic Party in Abia State, described the death of a mother as a most sorrowful thing, no matter the age. He implored the former minister to take solace in the fact that the late Chief Mrs Adesola Agunloye led a fulfilled life.
While wishing the soul of Mrs Adesola Agunloye a peaceful rest, Bishop Nwankpa, who was the Accord Party governorship candidate in Abia State in the 2023 general election, prayed to the Almighty God to grant the Agunloye Family the fortitude to bear the loss of their matriarch.
The late Mrs Agunloye, who peacefully passed away on Saturday, 13th July, 2024 at the age of 97, will be buried this Friday, Sept 13, 2024.
