The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Chief Okey Ahiwe has charged the newly inaugurated Uche Ndi Abia Campaign team, Amasaa Ntigha Ward 7 to work assiduously towards actualizing Professor Uche Ikonne gubernatorial project in the State.
Chief Ahiwe who gave the charge on Monday August 16, 2022 at Umuokoro Civic Hall, Eziama Ntigha in Isiala Ngwa North LGA during the formal inauguration of Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Team, Amasaa Ntigha Ward 7, reiterated that Isiala Ngwa North people are blessed to have the PDP gubernatorial flag bearer in the State from their LGA.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor while urging them not to be distracted by the antics of political opponents who have nothing tangible to offer, emphasized that they are supporting Col. Austin Akobundu RTD for Abia Central Senatorial District, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere for Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, Chief Collins Iheonunekwu for Isiala Ngwa State Constituency and all PDP candidates in the State.
Contributing, the PDP Chairman, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Elder Sam Esindu called on the people of Amasaa Ntigha and Isiala Ngwa North LGA at large not to toy with this golden opportunity of supporting their brother, Prof. Uche Ikonne in winning the Governorship seat as well as ensuring massive victory for all PDP candidates in the State.
In his speech shortly after the inauguration, the Coordinator, Uche Ndi Campaign Organization, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Sir Chinanu Ogbunamiri said the inauguration is the 7th and urged the team to continue to work as one indivisible entity in their quest to deliver Prof. Ikonne and all PDP candidates at the next year’s general elections.
The event which attracted the presence of critical PDP stakeholders from Amasaa Ntigha Ward 7 and Isiala Ngwa North LGA featured the acceptance of over 150 decampees back to the PDP by Elder Esindu.
