The 2027 ambition of Chief Barr. Samuel Okezie Nwogu, APC candidate for Ukwa East/West Federal Constituency, received a major boost as the Great Nganaudo Social Club of Nigeria paid him a solidarity visit and formally adopted him as their sole candidate for the 2027 general election.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the Club, Mr. Chimezie Mbakwe, expressed joy over Chief Nwogu’s emergence, describing his mandate as divine and assuring him that God’s hand is upon his journey. He disclosed that pastors across the zone have continued to intercede for Nwogu and his mandate. He thereafter, presented him with a cutlass as a symbol of spiritual and physical strength to overcome obstacles on his path to victory.
In his remarks, the Secretary of the Club, Mr. Obinna Nneto, eulogized Chief Nwogu, noting that even his name, “Samuel,” signifies divine favour and open doors. He assured him that members of the association would continue to stand firmly with him and pray for God to elevate him to greater heights of service.
Also speaking, the Provost of the Club, Mr. Sunday Chimezie, thanked Chief Nwogu for the warm reception and declared that the votes of members of the association are intact and fully committed to him and other APC candidates. He said members are eagerly looking forward to January 16, 2027, when they will cast their votes for Nwogu.
In a powerful prayer session, Revd..Pastor Precious Nana revealed that he and other pastors had been praying for Chief Nwogu even before his emergence as the APC candidate. He assured him that the prayers would continue unabated, declaring in faith that the mandate would culminate in victory in 2027. He urged Chief Nwogu to remain prayerful and steadfast, stressing that a divine mandate cannot be defeated. He thereafter prayed for God’s guidance, protection and favour upon him.
Responding, Chief Barr. Samuel Okezie Nwogu expressed deep appreciation for the show of love, prayers and confidence reposed in him by the Great Nganaudo Social Club. He said he was humbled by the gesture and assured the delegation that he would remain upright, dependable and committed to God.
Chief Nwogu maintained that he firmly believes in the divine nature of his mandate and would not be distracted by opposition or challenges, adding that God remains in charge.
The visit ended on a joyful note as members of the association and supporters celebrated together in praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God, further reinforcing the growing support for the APC candidate ahead of the 2027 election.
