The Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, Sir Okey Ahiwe, has rejoiced with Christian faithful across the country, particularly in Abia State, as they commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his message, Sir Ahiwe urged Christians to look beyond the celebrations associated with Christmas and focus deeply on the significance of the life of Jesus Christ.
According to him, “While we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and make merry, it is important that we reflect on the significance of His life, legacy, and transition. In His birth, we found hope. In His life, we found love and freedom. In His transition, we found salvation. The question is: as Christians, do we truly reflect the pristine values and examples of Christ in our own lives? This is the point I think we should meditate upon, individually and collectively, even as we celebrate.”
Sir Ahiwe prayed that the blessings of Christmas would abide with all Christian faithful and that God would graciously lead everyone into a New Year of greater peace and prosperity.
