It was a moment of joy and excitement in Ozar Clan, Ukwa West Local Government Area, as the APC Flag Bearer for Ukwa East and Ukwa West Federal Constituency, Chief Samuel Okezie Nwogu honored the invitation of the women of Isi-Nteke Autonomous Community during their August Meeting held on Monday,the 17th of August.
The event, which drew together women, party stalwarts, friends, community leaders from across the Local Government Area was electrifying and impactful.
Speaking at the occasion, the Women Leader, Mrs. Perpetual Leo expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Chief Sam Nwogu for honouring their invitation, while describing him as a man of his word who deserves to be followed without fear or favor.
Also speaking, the wife of HRH Eze Ferdinand Ibe Jackson,described Chief Nwogu as a divine illumination to the people of Ukwa and enjoined him to make laws that would be beneficial to the women if elected to the House of Representatives.
In his remarks, H.R.H Eze Ferdinand Ibe Jackson, commended Chief Nwogu for his kind gesture and prayed God to continue to strengthen and grant him success in his electioneering campaigns as he continues in his grassroots mobilization for victory and for the emancipation of Ukwa land.
Speaking during the event,Chief Sam Nwogu reassured the women of his commitment to people-oriented and effective representation if given the mandate to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
He urged the women to remain steadfast, committed, united and success-driven and assured the women of his continuous support and encouragement.
High point of the event was the decoration of Chief Sam Nwogu by the women and the renewed commitment of the women to support Chief Nwogu’s aspiration to the House of Representatives.
