Chief Peter Ifeanyichukwu Nwaokonko was born on the 9th of September, 1964 at Umuola, Eziama Ntigha Autonomous Community, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia State.
Following his basic education at Community Primary School, Egbelu, Eziama Ntigha where he got his First School Leaving Certificate in 1976 and Government Secondary School Owerri for his West African School Certificate in 1982, he obtained a banking professional certificate from the Nigerian Institute of Bankers, and a BSc in Government and Public Administration from Abia State University in 1992.
An experienced public and private sector administrator, he worked with the defunct Cooperative and Commerce Bank Limited before serving as Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of PANN Securities and Investments Limited, and its subsidiary, PANN Microfinance Bank Limited.
Chief Nwaokonko served as a Board Member, Abia Line Network Limited between 2012 and 2013 and became its Board Chairman from 2013 to 2017. He later served as an Ex-Officio member of the Abia State Executive Council, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – a position he served out and contested for the Office of Abia State Secretary of the PDP, recording a landslide victory.
Popularly known as OHAMADIKE, Chief Peter Ifeanyichukwu Nwaokonko is happily married and blessed with four children.
