The Family of late Eze R. O. Alozie of Umuibe, Umuapu, Apu Ukwu Autonomous Community, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Abia State, regrets to announce the transition to glory of their son, brother, husband, father and uncle, Dr. Reginald Chidi Alozie, whose sad event occurred on Friday, July 19, 2024 after a brief illness. He was aged 68.
The late Dr. R. C. Alozie was, until his death, a renowned icon of the medical profession and Chief Medical Director of Ronald Hospitals and Maternity which he founded in 1988 at Umunnachi, Idemili LGA, Anambra State, and later established branches at Omoba, Umuikaa, and Ndiolumbe (Isiala Ngwa South) as well as Umudike (Umuahia), in Abia State.
A celebrated philanthropist and politician, he served as Transitional Committee Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA between 2012 and 2013, and also served as Chairman, Abia State Hospitals Management Board.
He is survived by his wife, Barr. (Mrs) Uju Alozie, children, and brothers.
